I must have a home remedy for skunk odor removal from a cocker spaniel using normal household items. Thanks!? - skunk odor removal

Our Cocker seems to war with a country Skunk have neighbohood. "Charlie" presents itself to the level spot in the neck. We have tried fabreeze soap, and hear the tomato juice is definitely not working! Please help with a homemade recipe that really works to remove the smell of the dog and the couch. Thank you very much!

1 liter of water to hydrogen peroxide 3%

¼ cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

1 teaspoon liquid soap tea (because if you have a flea Sunrise, it will also drop em)

This recipe can be doubled for large breeds.

You moisten your pet, work and blend into the hair of the animal. Allow three to four minutes and rinse. In general, these have to be repeated several times. Be sure to remove excess mixture. Let the mixture into the eyes, as a precautionary measure, eye ointment in place to protect the eyes.

Note that the above mixture, temporarily until the color of the hair bleach May, the animal sheds and new hair grows in the current antidotes like tomato juice, vinegar or regular shampoo will not be not as efficient.

: P There are a few.

Man oh man. When I was little, my dog was beaten with a skunk while we were camping, the family said: "It must sit on your lap or do not fit!"

I felt so sick at the time that we again, but I felt better. Shaved to the hair and gave him a bath, has worked well. It stank to the sky for a moment, and only on your own!

For us, our old Mike had many pools of tomato, but my grandmother always added a peroxide-twist. She has always sought to Old Mike's eyes and mouth, etc. .. usually take care of them. Then dust with baking powder dry?

The old site is that of a friend of mine swears? Worth a try, I think. You will not know whether it anyway. Good luck with your stinky problem.

A friend told me that her attacker used Massengil shower. I have a tried if my dog was sprayed and the smell of a wash. After barely noticeable when the humidity is high.

The only thing I found that works is a trip to the hairdresser. If you no longer buy an attacker may be too close to the solution and not at home to save money.
